The STO N SHO is a two-piece, detachable mounting system consisting of a front license plate holder and a base mounting plate. Removal and installation of the license plate is extremely easy, requiring only the pull of a pin. Once the front license plate holder is removed, the base plate is virtually undetectable.

Each bracket is constructed in the USA from premium-quality 5052 and 6061 aluminum. Both plates are precision laser cut and hand-burnished. Each tube and rod is machine cut and hand cleaned. After the welds are ground smooth, a high-quality automotive trim black paint is applied and the product is tested to ensure proper operation. This newly re-designed bracket will no longer require modifications or cutting to ensure a proper fit, meaning that install is even faster than before! No special tools needed at all during the quick process.

Please Note: This will fit all 2015-2017 Mustangs except for the 1,964 Limited Edition 50th Anniversary GTs and Performance Package GTs which have a different/larger front chin spoiler.

By now you're probably familiar with the Stow and Show bracket which is a unique way to mount a license plate on the front of our new Mustang. With having the Stow and Show, allows you to put the plate on the car to stay legal but makes it very easy to remove for car shows or racing activities. This is a new generation Stow and Show for the 2015 through 2016 and we're going to install it on our 2015 Mustang GT. This particular license plate bracket is going to fit your 2015 through 2016 non-performance spec GT EcoBoost and V6. The issue with the previous model was the rubber air dam at the bottom would actually get in the way of the bracket. Stow and Show redesigned it with a much shorter mounting plate so it will clear that without any kind of modifications necessary. For this installation, we need a 1/4" ratchet, 7mm socket, 10mm socket, Phillips head screwdriver and the T20 torques bit.

We begin the installation by removing the two 7mm screws located right here, in these two holes in the front of the belly pan underneath the splitter. In order to put the bracket on using the supplied hardware, you want the holes to be towards the back of the car. In our case we do have the rubber air dam on our car, it was damaged thanks to a little off-road excursion at our local race track. Normally, this will be up tight against this and we'll push the bracket right up against it. We put the screw through, we're going to put the spacer on top.

Now we'll take our plate, using the supplied hardware, connect it to the bracket. Now I'm going to install it on the car. To install the plate you simply pull the pin, line everything up, and slide it on until it locks and your installation is finished. If you have to run a front plate on your 2015 through 2016 Mustang, the Stow and Show's the way to do it. It uses factory holes, so no modifications are required. It's very easy to install and also very easy to remove. It should only take you about 20 minutes to install and you'll be back on the road in no time.
