This Front Disc Brake Kit (140-13476) from Wilwood is a performance improvement over factory discs, and leagues better than drum brakes. The kit features four-piston forged aluminum calipers and 11.30" diameter vented one-piece rotors. This front disc brake kit from Wilwood allows you to use some 14" and 15" wheels. Calipers come in either a hard anodized (gray) or red powder-coated finish.

The forged Dynalite 4-piston calipers are designed to have one of the best wheel clearance in the market. The 4-piston calipers are constructed out of forged aluminum which helps against corrosion and reduces heat transfer. With this being a fixed caliper design, Wilwood’s front brake kit provides superior clamping power which decreases the stopping distance greatly. The intended vehicle application will conveniently require zero installation modifications for installation and clears most 14" OEM disc brake wheels. The one piece design rotor is precision machined for smoother engagement which provides for a long lasting rotor life even with heavy braking situations. Wilwood's Smart Pad brake pads feature a medium-friction compound with low noise and low dust of a street performance compound, plus the increased friction characteristics of a race compound brake pad. The smart brake pads have smooth engagement, with consistent response from a flat torque curve throughout their entire effective heat range.

This Wilwood kit is a great and affordable way to convert your 65 through 69 Mustang to front disc brakes. It'll fit all 65 through 66’s with V8 spindles and will fit all 67 through 69 mustangs. The kit is going to include these Dynalite four piston aluminum calipers and available in a red powder coat shown here or as well as black. Powder coated mounting brackets as well as a hyper worn set of brake pads are also included. The Dynalite kit includes these 11.3 inch high performance vented rotors. These are going to be the same 5 lug bolt pattern and will be a direct replacement for the stock ones on your 65 through 69 Mustang. All necessary bearing seals, hardware as well as brake lines are all included. The low profile design of the Wilwood Dynalite kit will allow it to fit behind more 15” wheels and even some 14” wheels.
